Great post! I have a few years before all of that, but I do have to pay for car insurance for a boy in less than 2 years. Just kill me now.

Too funny! I thought the same thing about the beer stein and I hate those little cards with their names on it. Why do you need four times the amount of those then the announcements? I’m going to have her just send a self portrait (aka: bathroom mirror shot from her iPhone) along with a one dollar bill to all her relatives. Attached to the dollar bill will be a post it that reads, “Please increase my investment ten fold.” It’s a win-win. The cost I’m saving in announcements will get relatives to pony up a few bucks because they’ll feel too guilty not send back at least a ten-spot. Hell, I could even send out 5-dollar bills with this kind of savings.

I feel your pain ! I couldn’t believe the cost of everything involved in the senior year, and to top it all off I get to do it again next year with my son. I hope you are able to get the order in.
