A new day
To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in at this steady pace.
Alas, a new day, changing all time!
And though our yesterdays were lighted with fools
Now on their way to dusty death, tomorrow begins afresh.
Shine on, needed candle!
History's but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his final hour upon the stage.
Let the joy of progress ring forth evermore.
For tomorrow begins a tale
Told by hope, full of sound and glory,
Signifying everything.

Now on their way to dusty death, tomorrow begins afresh.

Signifying everything.
