I did it.
Trusty credit card in hand, I went to Tri-Sports Bike Shop, and invested in a Trek 4300. It's one step up from the base model, and it's beautiful. All shiny and new. And FAST.
As soon as I got the bike home (haven't named it yet) I took it for a spin on my usual 5-mile walking route. I just walked the circuit yesterday and it took me an hour and a half.
On my bike, it took less than 20 minutes.
I LOVE THIS! Fast exercise, and it's FUN! FUN, I TELL YOU!!!
